This group will be guided by experienced Extra class hams committed to explaining what the ARRL study guide says, providing instruction on various HF modes (like SSB, PSK-31, RTTY, and even Morse Code,) and giving guidance for good HF operating practices. 

If time permits...we will be using the W7DK HF station as well as making field trips to other ham shacks to see how different equipment is put together.  Tips on choosing your first HF rig, antenna selection, grounding, etc, based on your individual situation will be given.

Some of the study material presented will be given by using the W7BUN method of the students teaching the topic to the other students and the instructor.
