The Radio Club of Tacoma is proud to sponsor
these awards for it's members:

DOC SPIKE INSPIRATIONAL AWARD

The award is defined per the Radio Club's standing Rules:

8.A.  "An award that will be made annually, in the memory of the Club's founder, to the Club Member(s) who best inspires the Club members in furthering the Club's Educational and Scientific purpose."

The award is presented at the club's holiday party in December.

Alan Ferguson, N7OMS, is the 2007 award recipient.

The Loggers Certificate is issued to RCT members who make contact with 10 other members.  Endorsements (that stick on the little logs on the lower left) are issued for each set of 10 more members contacted.  Send your LOG to Nick, K7MO. Check Roster for info.

The first contact award officially commemorates the new amateur radio operators first contact.  This award is usually presented to the new ham op in a small ceremony at a club meeting.   Click HERE to download the First Contact Award form.
Bring the completed award to a club meeting. Let the President know about the presentation to the new ham.  Either you or the President can award the certificate.

Awards for special achievement are given at the club's annual
Holiday Banquet  and Christmas Party in December.
